USAGE TIPS

Get the best photo you can of the fish. If it shows sand or seaweed, remove it and take a photo of the fish to show fins and attributes. A good fish photo enhances a quick identification.

LOOKING FOR A KOSHER FISH?

When you view the species details, there’s a green notification if the fish is kosher.

You may also try rebooting the phone and deleting/reinstalling the app. This does not affect your profile, but be sure to remember your username and password.

FINDING REGULATIONS FROM YOUR HOME LOCATION

If you have returned home and want to know about the species you caught, upload your photo. If the Geo location is your home, not where the fish was caught, you can manually update your location in the catch log.

Once you’ve manually updated your location you can manually search fish available and the regulations will show for that location.

  1. Go to App Store App
  2. Click on your account (Top right corner)
  3. Click on “Subscriptions”
  4. Choose a different subscription period, or turn off Automatic Renewal and your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.
  5. Continue using FishVerify as normal, you can then use the free version after your current subscription period ends.

For Google Play Users: (Android devices)

  1. Go to https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
  2. There you can see your Subscriptions and Services.
  3. Select the subscription you want to cancel > Cancel subscription and your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.

DELETE MY ACCOUNT

HOW DO I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?
If you wish to delete your account, please first make sure that you have cancelled your FishVerify Premium subscription to avoid any on-going charges after the account gets deleted as the subscription can still remain active through Google Play Store or App Store, depending on your device. Find below instructions to cancel:


To completely delete your account and all user data connected to it, please send an email to support@fishverify with both your username and email address
used to sign up for FishVerify. Once we have those details we will then be able to delete your account. Keep in mind that this is irreversible.
